I think that would be highly unlikely. I personally don?t like power steering on our cars, but if I did and went to the trouble to install one, why would I remove it unless it broke?

Yes, I just unplug the Bosch plug. I believe there is something wrong with the electric heater or the wiring to it. I?ve thought about sending it in to be rebuilt, but I hate to not have the car...
So I?ve been running my Delorean with the WUR unplugged for over a year now. The reason I unplugged it is I found that it would make my rpm relay hot if it was plugged in. (I have one of Dave?s...
You don?t really need back ups for a Delorean because you can always go back and get more.
I know, bad Delorean joke.
Where do you buy it?
Sounds kind of like what I said in the third post.
The warm up regulator could be acting up. If the electric heater part doesn?t work, it will warm up from the valve cover and run fine. The colder the car, the longer it takes.
I?m no expert, but any Delorean that is relatively complete is worth 20 grand minimum. Based on your discription and pic, I would say yours is worth more than that. I have no desire to start another...
I painted some stainless mirrors on another project and I figured the paint wouldn?t stick. I didn?t do nearly as much prep as you and it seems to be holding up fine. In the case of the grill, I?m...
On the locks, I removed the solenoids and never looked back. I never understood why I need a remote control on something that is so easy to reach. I really hate unnecessary gadgets. If you have them...
Don?t seem to have a current pic. The only difference is there is a stainless cup in the bottom of the holes for the actual cup to sit in.

Serious, it?s been awhile since I?ve seen the movie(s). I don?t recall anything about it. Was it used in the flick?

I have to repost this because this forum always inserts ? For quotation marks. To clarify, my clutch will not disengage till 1/2 inch off the floor.
What is this about? Something from the movie?
Are you saying that halfway through your pedal travel you can shift in to any gear without grinding? How far off the floor would you say you can do this? On mine, it?s like 1/2?, maybe less. I pretty...
This red wire ring connector goes to the spark plug wire holder bolt. I assume it is ground for something. Mine has a bend in it. If it fails, what will happen.

I finally got to work on the car. I had some trouble getting the remote bleeder, so I just used a vacuum one I bought last time. I?m not really recommending one, but it?s all I had. The problem with...
I have mixed views on the gas flap. I like the looks of no flap, but it sure would be nice to not open the hood when getting gas. I have a bunch of tools and stuff in there. I keep a black towel to...
Mine doesn?t have the cross over pipe anymore and I?m pretty sure it has the stainless lines, but I still think the housing could get hot.
This might be the case because the fluid that came out during bleeding is so grungy looking. When I was on the highway, I basically never shifted. It?s just in overdrive for 200 miles. On both trips,...
That?s pretty fancy. I was referring to the remote bleeder that Delorean industries sells. There maybe others. It?s just an extension of the bleeder valve so you can get to it easily. I can barely...
Well it made it 600 miles back and failed again 10 miles from my home. Same symptoms. It?s a lot nicer happening close to home. I?ll look at it tomorrow. I?m going to bleed it till I get clean new...
This trip the client invited me to stay at his house, so I got to park the car in his hanger. That was great. He has tons of tools, but no lift. He?s set up for working on planes/helicopters.
That?s strange. I just don?t follow why it would go in second. I?m pretty uneducated on transmissions. Could the synchro on the first gear have gone bad? Could it some how get loose in the tranny and...
