Long shot I know, but I'm looking for a FPR from a Volvo B280F (1987-91 Volvo Bertone). Figured with conversion attempts someone might have one sitting around. I had mine rip on me so I installed my...
I'd take the spark plugs out and disconnect the coil. Then crank it over and see what happens with the oil. Without compression, it will spin faster and reduce the drain on the battery.
I used gasket shellac compound, as suggested in the CIS Rebuild PDF linked to post #2 of:

Unless it's 5% limo tint, leave it on. I think almost all cars today come factory tinted, and it does make a difference with heat (I used to live in Sierra Vista AZ), less UV on your interior when...
I see you've removed your eBay listing now. By the way, you can buy an entire 760 for under $1500 over here, $2100 (starting) over there (with 74KMI) so I'm not sure how an engine/transmission combo...
Don't do it. I drove my D daily for years, including winters, while living in upstate New York. The frame and everything bolted to it turned into garbage. The car was great in the snow, but terrible...
The transmission would be useless to us and the PRVs in the 760s are not drop in replacements for the DeLorean in that the lower crankcase needs to be changed. So a DeLorean owner buying your engine...
Did you try adjusting the pots to see if you can resolve the loss? (If not, see VR sensor section of your hardware manual for the procedure)

MAPP gas works wonderfully if you use it with a TurboTorch tip.
^Agreed^
80% of the people who see the car remember it "from that movie..." or it's "the Back to the Future car!", 5% know what it is from other experiences in their lives and 15% don't know what...
Take it out completely.
How bad are the studs? Anything you do is a risk - it's really up to you if you want to get involved in replacing them where other things can go terribly wrong, as opposed to cleaning it up and...
To comment on your broken engine mount bolt. These can seize in the aluminum lower block. Naturally, you'll want to take something and swing at it to get it free but don't or you'll break the ear off...
I want to emphasize that my post said "the clutch kit specifically." Aside from this specific kit being listed as being DeLorean specific, I think it's pretty clear when you find an Amazon Valeo...
I've tried one before, wanting to see how it would do removing an exhaust manifold. I found the size prevented me from reaching 90% of the areas that I needed to hit with it, engine in car, so it was...
I'd replace the clutch/bearing/pressure plate since you've already got it apart.
Hint: I know everyone is about "supporting your vendor" but I can't go along with that for the clutch kit...
I stopped reading after the tropical storm was identified as a hurricane.
Since you have good numbers on the gauge connected directly to the engine, I'd say you're doing just fine and wouldn't worry about it. 32 is for 900RPMs and idle is 775 so ~28 would be expected....
Two marks is correct. See post #57 for explaination:

When I had no converters, my biggest complaint was how much I smelled like exhaust after a drive.
I am sure I can polish this up but here are some photos of it's current state.
