No problem! Hope it helps everyone out a lot. I will probably do one more 3D scan in the future of the dash interior but I think that's about it from me. :P
And another entry in my series of 3D scans. This time of the frunk of the Delorean. It goes up to the weather sealing lip down to the frame. This is of my car and the notable different here is that I...
Here is a link to a 3D scan of the rear half of the DeLoreans interior. This is of my car, and the only notable difference between mine and a different car is that mine has the deck board removed.

I did not, no. but it wasn't a design concern for me, as my batteries fit neatly in the butt.
I'm using SPIM08HP cells. Their characteristics are 8AH 3.7v. String configuration of 4P96S. Nominal voltage of 355.2v. At 32A that's 11366.4Wh, or 11.3Kwh. Max discharge rate is 400A (60C) Tesla...
Still not dead! Here's an update.

I am long overdue for an update. Sorry guys! As aforementioned I got a job, and then .. my daily's engine exploded when I threw a crankshaft bearing so I was out of commish for even longer. Unable to...
Can confirm grounding the nozzle when I did my upgrade did fix the shocking problem. Also I grounded the whole box (it was not grounded.)
Pretty big status update so far. We've recorded the first...
Automatic shifter faceplate also sold.
Fascinating. Not quite what I'd imagined when I read digital dash. Very cool project!

Great question. It did, but the controller board on the inverter software limits reverse to a much lower speed for safety and there's no way to bypass that limit through software.
Sent a response.
Also here's an updated list of some of the parts I've pulled and set aside.
Delorean Dash Clock - 75$

Thanks, Timeless!
Also thank you to JohnnyK who pointed out that the bumax bolts are NOT strong enough for the suspension system, and I went back and bought all the OEM hardware for the suspension...
That's fair. To the average consumer the different between original and reproduction might not even matter much, or they may even prefer the reproduction, given the original wasn't all that great...
That's really good perspective... I think I might take your advice and just leave the roof for now. I'd like to eventually replace the roof box but that doesn't need to happen just because the...
More not-that-glamorous work.
I'm about halfway through blasting all the parts now and I have some major complaints about my blasting cabinet:
It shocks me every 5 seconds or so

Probably about time I do an intro post.
