I only have experience with the stainless header bottle.
I found that the 15psi GM radiator cap works great. From what I can see that's what it's designed for.

The evap canister is just filled with activated charcoal.
The evap canister has one serviceable part. The bottom of the canister pops off with a screw driver and you will see a filter made of...
I was thinking if you disconnected the hose at the evap tank that goes to the fuel tank and put a little air in to see if there is a leak. Preferably a leak detection machine would work best.

You should have no problem with taking off the fuel tank cover. The fuel tank is usually tightly wedged in there so it shouldn't move. Not saying it can't move I just know that when I took mine of 5...
It's not Delorean.
It's a aftermarket oil cooler. Could be for engine or automatic transmission oil.

I believe the engine and transmission are still in the car but were not restored to running condition because they knew it was going to be on permanent display.

It would probably be better to paint them in place.
The side louvers next to the doors can come out but the clips that hold them in might break off. The ones with the windows can only be taken out...
That is so funny I'm laughing my ass off!!!

You beat me to it!
I was doing some detective work myself and it was my conclusion as well. There's a lot of similar things going on.
We just have to wait I guess.

This was just posted! It's just weird!

The charcoal canister is somewhat serviceable. The bottom is popped off with a screwdriver so you can change a filter. The filter looks like fiberglass insulation. I did mine about 2 years ago the...
You can go to the Delorean museum online site and purchase the documents. They are available I checked it out of curiosity.
I own VIN #3500 and it was shipped to the USA on September 26 1981...
You would have to cut six screws three on each side of the panel. There behind the outer door seal witch is glued on. That's of course you are using the outer door seal. I know of one person that...
I don't know if this is worth bringing up but there is a little over a .25 of inch of space between the headliner and the door skin. The reason I think it might not be worth anything is the headliner...
2×4 from lumber yard = 1.5×3.5.

My original starter is still doing well "knock on wood". But I have a premier incase it decides to puke.

I would recommend putting a insulated wrap on the starter and muffler. When I received my car the starter already had one. A couple years ago I put one on the muffler and I'm glad I did. It keeps a...
I would just put some foam with the adhesive on the back of it.

Well it's a aftermarket momo millenium evo steering wheel. It needs a special hub. I have one on my car. There $350 to $400. There is a knock off that is about $50.
I think momo discontinued it....
Are you referring to the DMC badge?
It looks like the ones that DMCMW had made in 2016.
They were selling them for 30 dollars at the time. I didn't get one because I thought it was a little...
I did mine with engine off. I also installed the self bleed system. Works really well!

Well we need a person with adventurous spirits to come up with a boosted clutch alternative. There's probably going to be a market for it in the near future. Just saying because we have a power...
There's a small hose on the upper right side of the radiator that you need to bleed as well. Air can't travel from the radiator to the engine very well.
