That's amazing
Have any threads about your Esprit? I had an 87 HCi for a few years.
Just going to completely ignore that you were clowned by a super obvious joke post, eh, 'guru'?
Well, he is a guru, you know.
Honestly Dave.... honestly.... How could you possibly not realize that this a joke post? It even says in my signature right in the post that my car is engine swapped.

knock knock; anybody home?
And why does it smell like old man farts in here?
Wow. What a boat load of presumptive, ignorant, and condescending tripe. You well and truly are one of the most self-absorbed jerks that I have ever met.
Yes, get a DeLorean. Then put a real engine in it.
I'll have acceleration videos in the spring. I might get around to dyno-ing it then too, but I don't really care that much about numbers. It's damned fast and that's enough for me, lol.
Wow, what a time capsule.

niiiiiiiiiice
My MS setup was very simple; fuel only. Are you also doing ignition? Also curious what you are using the expansion card for?
Automatic transmissions are MUCH larger than manuals. As it is, there is barely enough room for manuals in the DMC's frame when you figure in the repositioning of the gearboxes for the swap.
When I did my LS swap, I ended up spending about $13,000.
A couple of things:
1. No, it does NOT take a lot of work to get a carb running properly. Took me literally 1 hour to get every single aspect of the carb on my LS working perfectly.
2. What...
You saw my car; carb on my LS swap. A properly setup carb is easy to do, and will run remarkably well.
Looks nice!
This is good information to have, of course, but imo, it doesn't take all that long to remove the timing cover, so why not just do it that way?
Put the LSLorean away, after about 1,200 miles this season. Going to finally install A/C over the winter. Car runs and drives like a total animal.
