I have about 6deg of caster on my car, as well as some other owners on their cars.
I think you are giving lotus far too much credit for their work on these cars.
The stock suspension on these cars...
Like Mark said, the two biggest items you are fighting against is the lack of caster and a stiff steering rack.
Not much you can do about the steering rack. You have adjustable upper control arms,...
Those lock collar cross referenced shocks should be retired. The collar can slide down the body and cause major driving/safety issues.
The replacement DMC shocks are very affordable and designed...
Give the shop a call or an email I can let you know what to expect!

Are you renting it out? looks nicer than my house. Im on my way with a sleeping bag.
that is pretty good for a David T post.

Yes, we still need to play that intense game of checkers.
I suggest getting on that, previous years events are planned at least a year in advance.
Unless your transaxle mounts are visibly damaged, i would not replace them. If replacing, try your best to stick with NOS. I have not had good luck with the reproduction transaxle mounts.
the hard lines are 5/16" both feed and return
Glad you are happy with the new brakes!
We have several extra dust shields from our brake conversions if you want to buy good used set.
I see you got those rivets popped out without a fuss, right on.
They are going to throw him right back in prison after he kills you!!
My hub spacing is slightly different than stock , so apples to oranges somewhat.
Rears are 17x9 et +35
Fronts are 16x7...
Many more miles without issues. Working on the exterior of the car now, most notably now the proper colored front bumper.
I was experimenting with front wheel spacers to get the wheel "fitment"...
I miss the stock style wheels, and given the opportunity would be interested in designing and manufacturing a upsized set. I have seen the wheels on the 2JZ car in person and they look spot on to the...
if your flanges are flat, there is no reason to have more than two studs per cylinder. You can install more studs to try and flatten out a warped flange, but it really should be milled down which can...
I understand you have a certain type of dry wit/humor but this comment is seriously F'd up even for you.
None of the suspension bolts are reverse threads as David said.
Consider using heat, there may be some red loc-tite hiding in those threads.
i would not recommend installing a washer like this. You are essentially bending the torsion bar to make it clear the rear hinge. While it is no longer touching the hinge, it is not necessarily...
This is not correct.
The stainless on our cars is somewhere between 22 and 24 ga 304ss.
The underbody with glass weighs almost exactly 400lbs.
Same here. I have almost entirely replaced the bushings in my car with Superflex Poly. I would not consider them harsh at all. They are a quality product.
I do not believe anyone has a complete setup. However you can somewhat easily piece everything together. This is my recommendation for going "All out" for a brake and suspension rebuild/upgrade....
