The DMC-12 as a Jeopardy clue?

Did anybody notice that the 17-Dec installment of the Jeopardy game show on ABC-TV featured a DeLorean for a few moments?

A DMC-12 was reportedly shown as part of the video-clip-clue to which the Jeopardy answer-in-the-form-of-a-question was "What are gullwing doors?" The assistant next to the car may or may not have opened/closed the passenger door in the clip.

One of my relatives sent me this info. I did not see the show.

Can anybody confirm? Do we know whose D might have been used for the taping of the show?

Millions of viewers may have gotten another rare DMC-12 moment on TV.

    Yes, I saw it!

It was the $1000 question for a 'historical automobiles' category (or something similar). The contestant thought they were called 'seagull' doors.

The car they showed was missing the DMC badge on the front grill I think.

Probably not by accident (licensing). The same badge is missing on the front of the car in the pages of the instruction book that came with the Lego "time machine" set. Kind of just erased from the photos.

Funny that they also had a question on the stainless 1960 Ford Thunderbird there too. I never knew there were other factory stainless cars out there.

Here is some info on them cars:

    Thanks for the link.

Previous thread on stainless non-D's may not have had that one in it:

All those cars are in the same museum. The car pictured is vin 500. It doesn't have a DMC logo on the grill.
