Wire for the otterstat switch, 3rd and 4th wire???

    Hi guys,

    Quick question from the newbie:
What is going on here, why are there a 3rd and 4th wire protruding from the harness where the wires for the otterstat switch are comming out?

Please excuse the crudity of this DeLorean as I didn't have time to repair it yet.

You'd have to peel the tape back to know for sure. But my guess is someone installed an override/manual switch to it...or maybe an "on" indicator light.

As wrote above, a common modification if you trace the wires they 'probably' go to (or did) an over-ride switch.
