    Australian Delorean for sale (RHD)

Been a regular around the Aussie forums and posted a bit here years back, but here goes

Time for a changing of the guard. I'm wanting to sell my Delorean.

Well not really wanting but the logistics of it are getting too difficult. I bought it as a uni student, now i'm a father and your priorities change.

The RHD convo is pretty much complete, barring a few things. The car runs like a dream and I've weeded out all the electrical issues(gees these things have so many problems!)

Looking at offers around $40k. Pictures can be supplied upon request.

    Brief Specs:

    RHD
Turbo(one of the most powerful Deloreans in australia)
    new fuel lines, and accumulator
    32k original miles
remote opening doors and central locking(press a button and the doors pop open)

    More info and history

This car used to be owned by the visual Fx director of Independance Day, Volker Engel. He won an oscar for that movie. Here's the IMDB link http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0257159/

SO in addition the buyer will also get the california plates "ID4VFX" and several other pieces of corroborating evidence, including name tags and american vehicle related documentation.

In addition a detailed report into the required modifications to complete the RHD will be included.

The car is located in Geelong,Victoria and can be viewed on request. No tire kickers please!!!

Also selling with the car are my custom victorian plates "88MPH"

Also included are all orignal LHD parts unmolested, should you wish to restore(why i don't know! But i thought i should mention it)

Enquiries contact me (James) on email. ===> James.fincher(at)hotmail.com

(Replace the (at) with @. it stops bots from getting through.....)

    James,

you might have more interest, with it being a RHD, in posting it on the UK forum

    http://www.deloreaneurotec.co.uk/forum/index.php

either place, photos would be good.

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

    Yeah will post photos.

Haven't bothered with the UK as they would would still have to ship it. There are alot of Aussies that view this forum, and the shipping has been done. The 40k figure is including the vic plates, so i would go lower without them, but since the car (and works/repairs) have cost in excess of 40k I wouldn't go too low.

I'm open to offers though, real ones especially.

Will post up some pictures tonight. AEST time

    Car is still for sale.

I did the conversion myself, so the cost is subjective. Quotes that i had for the convo were around the 15k mark(one guy said $30k but he obviously didn't want the job)
