I was just thinking...if I put the car up on ramps we could get under there and torque down the suspension bolts with weight on the frame. Make a twofer out of it at least.

I found my old post where I used a non tapered thread fitting.

Yeah I put a rubber oring in between. I'd say that the pressure was too much for it.

I like the stainless fitting, but I would test under pressure what ever you do.

Tam signed us up for a trail race with some friends of ours. It was a rough one...I walked the hills quite a bit. I got it done though. I didn't realize how far 25km was.

We were going to work on the car after the race but I fell asleep and ended up sleeping for 15 hours.

We didn't work on it yesterday (Sunday) because we had a family BBQ.
We worked in it today (Memorial day) from 1-8.

We started by carefully jacking the car up (using blocking on the frame). I made up some makeshift stoppers to ensure that the car wouldn't roll off the blocks.

I didn't get a picture but I laid cinder blocks down, put the pieces of 2x10s on the cinder blocks, then lowered the car tires down onto the 2x10s.

I opened the secret passageway in the tunnel inside the car. These fittings looked dry.

It looked like the leaking was on one of the fittings connected to the end of the accumulator.

One of the fittings felt loose when I checked it. I was having zero luck snugging it down though. Working on a Delorean accumulator is the worst!
The accumulator felt surprisingly loose in the mount so I ended up removing the plate and installing thick foam on it. Even this simple task was a pain in the butt. You can't see what you're doing once you get your hands in there.

I tried like 10 wrenches trying to get in there to hold both sides of the fittings to tighten them down. This is the only combination I could get to work.

Tam installed the battery cables through the tub then worked on removing the carpets from inside the car.

I used a spare negative cable to make up a ground wire to go from the trailing arm mount bracket bolt to the transmission. I know this is redundant but I figure it can't hurt.

Wrestled the wires in to place and put a longer bolt through them into the frame.

I have heard that it is recommended to install a nut on the back side. So I put a nut in there. Easier said than done.

I grabbed a short bolt and lockwasher and attached my new ground jumper onto to transmission.
I installed a missing clip onto the transmission to hold the brake cable.
