Yeah if it works I wouldn't mess with it. Maybe it is just low on charge?

Yea, it has a slow leak. I charge it every so often. But it never works great.

Josh from D-Ind said he'd send the fitting out immediately. Still nothing yet and no tracking number.
Hoping to get the AC system wrapped up soon.

Health stuff update. Last week I had follow up appointment with the Neurologist. She reconfirmed that her assessment is P.D. We, well mostly Tam disagreed and argued against the diagnosis. We told her we were meeting with another Neurologist this week. We all agreed to wait and see what this other Neurologist said.
We meet with this other Neurologist yesterday. We really like this guy. He asked a bunch of questions, said "do this, do this, while doing that"
At the end of the appointment his clinical diagnosis was "You have P.D."
He wants to look at my scans and some other things but he's thinking I have P.D.
Tam took it pretty hard. I already kind of came to terms with it a while ago so I am fine and the gears are turning in my head of "How would God want me to use this to do good in the world?"

So what are the odds? A guy buys a barn find Delorean and while he is retoring it develops systems of P.D. and and him and his wife are almost finished restoring the car, get a diagnosis of P.D. Seriously, what are the odds of that??

Actually to be clear I DID have symptoms before we got the car but I had no idea it was P.D. because it was minor things

We all hope the Doctor is wrong with the PD diagnosis. I still hope since you had good results with the tremor meds that it turns out a better result. Don't they try a medication that helps PD to verify.

We worked on the car from 11:30 till 7:30.
This was another "I know this is gonna suck but we just got to do it".
I am referring to installing the steering shaft and steering column.
Tam was not in the shop the first hour so I started by installing one of the rear wheels just to get it out of my way and so I could remember what the car looked like with wheels on it.

Next I removed the old junk rivnuts on the right side rocker.
I find a low grit disk on a cordless angle grinder to be the best tool for this job. Grind down until flush with the tub then drive them up into the tub with a hammer and punch.

Tam went to work removing the left fender.

There was a bunch of shims under the fender. I am not sure if we will need these with the new fender or not but we took several pictures of the shims locations and count.

There was a bunch of debris behind the left fender so I decided to pull the bottom of the right fender out to clean behind it. We used compressed air to clear the gap between the angle plate and the tub.

The factory did a crappy install of the inner fender seal on the right side. I cut this bent part off and refitted the seal.

I replaced the rusted tinaman nuts with stainless steel ones. I walked to the hardware store and found perfect S.S. screws to use to replace the bottom screws on all four fender panels.

Tam installed a new inner fender seal on the left side.

She was having zero luck getting the new seal to go onto the tub. I tried and didn't have much better luck. We ended up using the grinder to take the sharp edge off the tub flange and used a plastic mallet to seat the seal fully onto the tub.
