I may have found a car that would fit my needs but would need some help doing a pre purchase inspection.

The car is located in central Connecticut.

Does anyone know anybody who could help me? For payment, of course.

Your best bet would be a place like PJ Grady on Long Island, as they have decades of experience working on DeLoreans. If you need someone a bit closer, you need to find out which garage is servicing the DeLoreans in your area. I think there’s one either in northern MA or southern NH that is popular but I’m not sure. You should be able to find it searching through these forums.

Failing that, maybe post some photos here. There's no substitute for an in-person inspection of course, but it can be surprising what a bunch of people will pick up, and give you
some questions to ask.
