Thanks for the confirmation. That's what I suspected/remember hearing. Wish I was there.

I also previously got the invitation to spend $2500 to buy a spot in line.

    Got a text message today:

Leads to a link that also appears to be selling spots in line, with a countdown timer to the presentation tomorrow night.

Delorean are sending out "partnership" emails to media influencers now to try and hype up the sale. I got several emails asking me to partner up with Delorean and help support the roll out. Wondering if anyone else got the email or joined their partner program for the Alpha. Seems like they might actually roll these out.

I signed up for "new delorean" info years ago. So far, nothing emailed to me.
I signed up for updates on the "newer-new delorean" a year ago. So far, nothing emailed to me.
I signed up for the printed catalog (almost a year ago). So far, nothing emailed to me.

When the first new delorean owner drives it home, I will be a believer.

Oh wait, they will not be street legal.

I legitimately forgot this thing even existed. That is if you can even count building one prototype as existing in the first place.

    More vaporware from Texas.
