Picked myself up a roll up tool bag to keep in the trunk, with its design, which essential tools would you keep in it? I’m looking for a basic emergency kit to help me limp home in an emergency.
And no, telling me to get AAA is not a valid answer.

AC & Alt belt (and the tools necessary to change them out).
Big trash bag (to lay on dirty ground and/or put flat tire in for ride home).
Rags, old TShirts (to clean off dirty hands and other areas if you don't have a large trash bag)
Zip ties, duct tape (they fix things better than new :-)
... and others but these are the items I used most.

I agree with this. If I take a long trip, I carry an extra alternator and starter. (Plus tools to change em)AC & Alt belt (and the tools necessary to change them out).

I would change out the starter for a fuel pump, those go out more often than starters (the stock pumps don't take up any space). I don't think I have heard of a DeLorean starter going bad.

Consider that there are 2 separate but coordinated lists, one is what spare parts you want to bring and one for the tools necessary to change them and do other minor repairs. Both lists are also dependent on your skill level, how far you are going, and the condition of the car. Some other things to consider carrying especially if you are with other Deloreans, (they might need it) a pivot bolt for the shift linkage, a headlight switch, a battery pack with an air compressor and flashlight. At least several jumpers to jump out relays, and an assortment of fuses.

Probably true, but don’t know if I would want to tackle that job on the side of the road or parking lot. On that note, has anyone installed a inline fuel pump? Seems like a much easier way to go. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it when I changed mine. (Of course, my tank was full of junk anyways)
