    Seat Covers

    Hey guys,

I'm looking for some new Seat Covers for my D - found the LSeat Covers and like them (bc they have to ripples)

Someone here with these Covers and has experiences after a few years?

Or do you have alternatives without ripples? Price is also unbeatable at LSeat i think.

    Greetings from Germany

If it were me, I'd go with these covers from DeLorean Go, which are supplied to them by DeLorean Europe. These use the same material as the original seats, and (at least to my eye) have the closest appearance to factory seats in terms of color and matching the rutched center section. Expensive though.

They also sell these for about half the price:

    https://www.deloreango.com/us/black-seat-covers.html

And DMCH has their own offering:

Here is another thread where various options are discussed

    Thanks for the help

I know the offerings from those sites but I was looking for some experiences and pics after years of using.

The DGO ones seems to be without the ripples. But I haven?t seen a picture when they are in the car.

And the original fabric ones are too expensive I think. I really don?t want the ripples, i like the clean smooth look.

    The official term is "ruching". I've seen it called "runching" but I think that's a typo. I'm not clear if the original seats had it;
because if they did, it came out a long time ago, since you don't see it with original seats any more.

I'm interested to see where you saw fabric ones - I've only ever seen leather - and of course, that's only the front and seat -
    the rest is vinyl.

    They say:
made using the factory original grey material here in the UK - for a completely factory original look
But I think it was my translation mistake.

I?ll order the Lseat ones. Give them a try and I?ll post them then.

Curious if you ever got the LS covers or not. What color did you go with? I've looked at those in the past and you can't beat the price if they fit and match but I have heard some horror stories about the company too. Just curious.

Sorry for the answer coming so late.

I ordered the Lseat covers and I love them.

They come also with the back, wasn?t in the description but it?s great, colour fits (dim grey)

The upholstery said, the bottom was a bit too wide (could also be a shrinked foam) and the backrest was a bit tight.

    Back plate fitted perfect

Picture was taken directly after the upholstery, the folds in the backrest are gone after a few days
