The Delorean was supposed to have 265s for the rear wheels.

I was looking over some of my pictures of the wood mockup and noticed something.
The rear wheels have 265s. I'm thinking has anyone else noticed this? What is the size on the driving prototype? I'm thinking there probably the same as current but maybe there could be a difference. Unfortunately I don't have any good pics of the front to see if they are different.

Just thought I would share this with you fine people.

Interesting. How can we be sure those are the original tires though?

Prior to the museum receiving the collection I don't know.
The only evidence I have that the museum wouldn't do anything is that VIN 514 that is also in there collection still has it's NCTs.
I talked to a couple guys that work there about the Delorean collection and they are very proud of the car and the history they have with it. As we talked I brought up the history of Margaret Thatcher and in a very professional manner they had no love for her. I became fast friends with the guys and because the boss was not in yet they asked me if I would like to sit in VIN 514. And I said yes. It will always be the best part of the trip. I found out shortly after my visit they made an extension of items to the collection.
