I don't want to hijack yr thread, my driver's side vent has a couple of broken flaps. I'm pretty sure these vents should be similar to another 70s-80s car. I can't put my finer on it, but there should be a compatible part we can use??

I know the new items (vents) are expensive from DMC.

Thanks I'll look into the shift boot. Does it come with metal bracket? My old boot I have to hold it down on all 4 coners with black screws.
The air vents I'm still looking around for something similar.

Here is how to install it, it comes without the bracket so you have to reuse the old one.

Noooooo! Don’t buy any products from Redline Goods!

Noooooo! Don’t buy any products from Redline Goods!

Here is a picture of the black leather shift boot and the black leather parking brake handle boot I bought from Redline Goods.
As you can see they did not bother to sew the end of the leather boot to match the pictures they have on their web site.
    The leather products come from
    REDLINEGOODS
    Skn Poczt. Nr 71
    81-209 Gdynia 9
    POLAND
I would never ever buy any products from them.
They can’t even get the manufacture of the DMC-12 correct. They have it listed as GMC instead of what we all know is the correct manufacture.
    Buyer Beware.

Thanks, didn't mean to recommend a bad product. Now looking at mine it's true, it's not like the picture online, I'll send them an email and ask.
I have barely taken them out of the envolope it came in since my car isn't arriving before early December.

Edit: I'll take some pictures when I've fitted them, and I'll report back their answer is and if I get new ones made.

Here is the answer I got, won't be able to test it before I get the car.

    Hello!

The shift boot doesn't have one, here's how you install it: http://www.redlinegoods.com/ziptie.jpg

Same with the ebrake boot, infact. Just flip it inside out and use a zip-tie to secure it to the shifter/ebrake handle.
