    Engine Fluids

What is the present recommendation for viscosity and manufacturer for engine oil. I live in Las Vegas, NV where the temperature range goes from mid 40s to 110 degrees. Is Castrol 20w50 correct as others here have told me?

Also, what is the present recommended antifreeze brand and/or additives concerns?

    On coolant.

Any brand of classic greenish-yellow coolant is fine. Plain vanilla.

Prestone sells it in either concentrate or ready-to-use formats. So do other mfgrs.

This page shows the Prestone version and also has a coolant lookup tool at the top, one that covers your car in case you'd like to check.
