    Seat Belts

If anyone has some NOS seatbelts in their parts stash they won?t be needing let me know. Especially looking for drivers side since mine is fraying. Passenger side doesn?t retract properly either so I would like to do both over the winter.
Though I?d check here before I have to order from DMCH.

There were also some other cars that used the same seat belts as the delorean, or if you don't mind having different seat belts you could upgrade so something more modern.

    1980 ferrari 308 had them

Has anyone actually installed the 308 seatbelts? I've "heard" they look the same but the fixed latch is either too long or too short compared to the DeLorean version. Just something I remember hearing, it would be great to have true confirmation that it's "the same".

Looks like the cable part on this one is slightly longer, you'd have to swap over the one from you're seatbelts or make a new one unless you don't mind it being longer.

looking at some of the other ferraris, some seat belt receivers stick way out and some are way back closer to how the delorean looks. You'd have to try different ones to find which has the same length.

Also saw one on an early VW, rabbit maybe? I don't know how long the cable is on that one.

The Porshe 928 has seatbelt receivers that look similar, but not exact. Might be nice for someone that just wants something a little different. Keep in mind they won't plug into our the delorean seat belts. Also the length of the cable looks close the the deloreans.

A better solution might be to use one of those services that repair/replace the webbing.

For anyone looking into 928 seatbelts I can confirm those above are not the style in my 1993 928.
