    Taillight LED Upgrade

Hello, everyone. It's been a while since I've been around here. (Three kids in 4 years will do that). I barely drive the car these days but yesterday I realized that one of my brake lights was out. I'm thinking of upgrading my taillights to LED. If I upgrade my flasher relay to do this, will my old fashioned headlights still work or do they need to be upgraded as well?

Headlights will still work fine but the front blinker lights will need to be changed.

You're talking about the front amber parking lights?

I replaced both tail light boards and upgraded all the bulbs to LED at the same time. I replaced the relay under the dash with one that has a dial to control blinker speed. I never touched the front bulbs and they seem to work fine. Is there something I am missing?

Is there something that you are missing or something that I am missing? Incan bulbs in the front of the car in conjunction with an LED-compatible relay is A-OK. The LED Relay will cycle at lower current compared to a normal blinker relay, thus you have to replace the relay to resolve any fast-blink behavior.
