To clutch or not to clutch

I need some advice on this. My engine and transmission are currently out of the car and I'm already going to be spending a buttload of money to update a lot of stuff since my frame is now also out.

I got approximately 55,000 MI on this car and I didn't have any issues at all with the clutch. Do I put it all back together and hope to get another 50 thousand miles out of it or do I just replace the clutch now since it's already apart?

I have a pretty good idea what most of you are going to say but let me hear it anyways

I would put a new clutch in just because you have it all out. You can also do a good inspection of it, but the throwout bearing can still be going bad. I'm basically going on if it's still original.
My car was an Ohio car and this was my throwout bearing at about 18k about two years ago. One day it totally seized up. Well you can see why.

With all the time and money you are spending on the car it would be foolish not to replace the the clutch plate, throwout bearing, pilot bearing and pressure plate. The flywheel may also have to be ground. You should also do the roll pin in the transmission. For the motor I would suggest replacing the water pump and all the seals and gaskets on the top. If the crank seal or timing cover gasket are leaking this would be the time to replace them. Also check the valve adjustments.

Hint: The DeLorean uses the Valeo 52352501 clutch kit. You are not limited to having to buy it from a DeLorean vendor.

Water pump already done, intake is off so that will be done. Valve cover and timing chain cover gaskets done ....
