Question Fair price for running PRV (with carb conversion and original K-Jet system)?

I was recently asked by someone I was discussing my planned electric conversion of 16655 whether I?d consider selling the original engine to a friend of theirs who was in need of one- but I?ve not been able to figure out what I should be asking for it. The engine ran well when I started tearing the car down for the extensive frame work it needs and has at least 65k miles on it (the angle drive has gone out several times so the Odo hasn?t registered ALL of the miles it has travelled). I?ve never run it with the K-jet though- when I got the car it had sat for a while and it was clear it would need a lot of new parts so I ended up getting a carb conversion for it (the first dual-plane carb intake, iirc) for less than the K-jet parts would have cost. I kept all of the original parts though so it would include both intake/fueling options.

What is a good ballpark price for a running (carb setup or not) PRV?

I was asking 4K for my original, running, drop-in engine with K-jet and everything else but the AC compressor, plus extra parts and new eagle 3.0 starter, with similar mileage as the one you have. I dropped the price to $1500 and I believe I ended up taking $1200 in the end. That was 10 years ago so I'm not sure this helps.
