Frequent stalling at all speeds and RPMs
Need help. #017009. Car stalls frequently at all speeds and RPMs. Issue suddenly cropped up and got worse. I?ll be driving along and suddenly I?m not running (could be within 60 seconds or 5 minutes). No stumbling or hunting, just suddenly not running. If under acceleration, it?s abrupt. If coasting, can stall without much to notice. I put in nuetral while rolling along, back the key off and restart with the starter ?. it restarts immediately. No delay or difficulty. Feels electrical to me (vs fuel).
I was considering the key ignition switch. I had one fail before with different sympotoms. But I can?t make it repeat by jiggling. It will also stall just sitting at idle in my garage. Running nice and smooth and just stops. Restarts immediately. Doesn?t feel like anything would make the ignition switch do that at idle.
Need your ideas please. Thank you in advance. I reviewed to see if this issue had already been described but didn?t find anything.

Download the PJ Grady Troubleshooting Guide and review pages 2 and 3 on the PDF.
Check your fuses and the electrical system, make sure nothing is melting down causing intermittent failure.
Check the ballast, same dealio.

RPM relay is known to fail
connectors at the resistors

Known common failure points:
Fuel pump electrical circuit
Fuel pump
Connectors on white ignition ballast resistor
RPM relay
Connectors in fuseblock especially #7
Pick-up coil in distributor
Anything done recently that might cause this. Make sure you are not very low on gas. Pull the fuel pump and inspect the tank parts, especially the pick-up hose.

Problem solved.
Problem is solved. Thanks for all the input. The PO updated the fuel pump to one from DMC Texas. They spliced an extension on to the fuel pump power connector in the wiring harness. This was a poor connection failing under some pretty minimal vibration. Cleaned That up. Problem solved.
