    Stainless Emblems Flaking

Hey folks, been a long time since I logged on.

I was curious if anyone has found that the stainless steel emblems flake? Given the cost to purchase these I can't say I'm thrilled.

It looks like DMCH doesn't even offer these any more... unless I'm missing something. Really haven't been paying attention to DeLorean stuff for the last 10 years.

I think I have the same set of stainless labels. PO installed them prior to 2008 when I bought the car. I checked my records but could not find any more info on what vendor made them.

Maybe the PO of my car got them here from Tamir?

So far they are all holding up though. \_(ツ)_/

The finish on the stainless does look slightly different on yours though. Mine are all an even matte finish and yours looks like they have a brushed finish. I'm not sure if that means they are from a different vendor, or if that was a change made later on. Or someone could have added the brushed finish to yours after the fact.

Sorry for the bad pic, this was just from last year when I had the license plate bezel off and it was sitting on top of the engine.

We offer the full kit made by the original manufacturer and also stock individual labels including both air box variants.

Odd, I bought a kit from Tamir's site at least 10 years ago (I assume yours is the same) and never had any issue from them which actually surprised me.

If the airbox label is the only one, get one of Josh's labels.

We took over stocking and selling these for the Rush Ohlin a few years back along with offering each individually on our site. They are the same manufacture and a direct replacement for any that have an issue.

As mentioned below, I was helping Russ sell these for many years. No longer do even though my site still has them on there as the site hasn't been updated in many many years. I redirect folks now to DeLorean Industries as Russ selling there now.
