1972 Dodge Sportsman Van - First car, learned to drive on in the 80's. Pulled the rear seats, installed bean bag chairs, a "Spark-O-Matic stereo, and a bottle rocket launcher out the front grill.
1985 Nissan Pickup - Learned to drive a stick shift on the way home from the dealership. Drove it to college - nothing fancy.
1987 Oldsmobile Calais - sold my truck to buy this to impress a girl. Stupid move.
1989 Chevrolet Berreta GT - Loved this car. Low, wide and heavy as lead and FAST. Doors weighed a ton. Burnt a valve and scrapped it.
1993 Saturn SL2 - My wife and I's first "kid hauler family car". Drank as much oil as it did gas.
1997 Buick LeSabre - Family kid hauler #2. Hand me down from my elderly parents. Car would not die. Sold it to one of my employees. Probably still running out there somewhere.
1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Family kid hauler #3. My oldest son still drives it with 335K on the odometer.
2008 Ford Taurus X - Kid hauler #4. Very nice car with more engine power than it really needed. Oldest son totalled it by hitting a cow.
1996 Ford F150 - Best truck ever. Single cab, bench seat, 5 speed, LONG bed.
2004 F150 SuperCrew cab truck. - daily driver until my middle son threw a rod in it.
1981 Delorean DMC-12 - Dream car since I was a teenager.
1991 Nissan Hardbody truck. My $400 truck I bought as a father/son project. He never drove it because it was a stick shift. Sold it last weekend to a guy named Jesus for $1,000.00
2017 RAM 1500 Crew Cab "Big Horn" Edition - my daily driver.

This is the list of motor vehicles I've personally owned. I'm not counting my wife's cars or any other family members. Generally speaking, I despise new cars. They've turned in to flat-screened golf carts on wheels.
1983 Ford Bronco inline-6 5spd
1996 Ford F-150 inline-6 5sp
1999 Pontiac TransAm v8 6spd
2002 Ford F-150 v6 5spd
1998 Volvo S70 inline-5 auto
1995 Mercedes C220 inline-4 auto
1985 Chevrolet C10 v8 auto
2007 Audi A4 inline-4 6spd
1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A inline-4 3spd
2011 Chevrolet Tahoe v8 auto
1981 DeLorean DMC-12 v6 auto
1983 Ferrari 308 v8 5spd
2017 Chevrolet Tahoe v8 auto
2003 Audi A4 v6 6spd
I don't know if I have a favorite in that list. They're all unique and were with me at different times in my life. My 2002 Ford pickup was my first new vehicle and it was a PoS. The Volvo was a second-hand family car and it was pretty nice for the day. My 2007 Audi left me on the side of the road more than once but it was fun when it was right. The Ferrari was a head-turner similar to the DeLorean but was very expensive to maintain and I didn't DIY it because of the whole Ferrari lore of needing to have detailed service records from reputable mechanics. I'm glad I sold it when I did.
My DeLorean was a dream car of mine for most of my life, certainly in my childhood. When I bought it, it was a project and needed a fair amount of work. Nearly 13 years later, despite the money and effort I've put into it over time, not much has changed. I'd say overall, it's been a bit of a disappointment. I've recently thought about selling it in the project state its in to someone else who wants to give it some love. The biggest thing holding me back is the regret I have selling my 1985 square body Chevrolet truck. I sold it to a family member who had it a year before they crashed it and ended up scrapping and parting it out. I would like to give the DeLorean to my son one day but it may not be his thing. He may want something different for him.
