DeLorean Owner Since 2006
This is excluding the cars that I've owned for less than a month. If I were to add those, then it'd be several pages longer.
1955 Ford F-100 <-- First and only time I've ever had a truck. Traded it on the Chevy
1951 Chevrolet Bel-Air Sport Coupe <--Swapped the motor to a hopped-up 350.
1981 DeLorean 6982 <--Half of my current DeLorean came from here.
1979 Cadillac Coupe de Ville <--The most reliable, problem-free car I've had. Low-optioned car and started to burn a quart of oil a week at 230k
1981 DeLorean 1601 <--My current dream DeLorean and the car I learned stick with.
1989 Cadillac Seville <--Terrible car; an utter disappointment.
1994 Ford Crown Victoria <--My shin kept hitting the lower dash pad, so I sold it.
1999 Pontiac Grand Prix <--Brother wrecked it while I was in Basic Training.
1998 BMW 528i <--The worst car I ever owned. Never was right and what a money pit.
1982 Harley-Davidson FXRS <--Motorcycle for summer fun.
1970 Cadillac De Ville Convertible <--My feasible dream Cadillac; 375HP 472 stock motor.
1975 Bricklin 2645 <--Because I can.
1974 Dodge Monaco Brougham <--Used as the workhorse of my fleet; a great car.
1981 DeLorean 1265 <--Project
1976 Cadillac Eldorado <--40,000 miles on a 500 Cu.In. 8.2L motor. BEAUTIFUL!
1974 Dodge Monaco Custom <--Being rebuilt as the Bluesmobile
1981 Mercedes-Benz 300SD <--Daily commuter; sitting due to transmission issue.
1967 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow <--Sitting last 25 years; my new project.

- 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GT, black paint, black leather interior. 1st car I ever owned. Would love to own another car with a Heads Up Display.
- 2001 Mercedes Benz C240 Orion blue metallic, black leather interior. This was the 1st year of the redesigned "baby Benz" and by golly it had more electrical problems than my DeLorean has had! I loved it, but when you're young and dumb and have quite a bit of extra cash, this seemed like a good idea.
- 2001 BMW 330Ci, slate grey paint, light grey leather interior. Great car, but had a bad taste in my mouth after dealing with BMW Mississauga. When I sold it 3 years later, the Cadillac dealership informed me it had been in a $16k accident before I owned it. Huh, funny considering it was a Certified Series and that in itself guarantees it was not to have been in any accidents. I would later learn that their Used Car Manager was a crook and was frauding customers with a little side business he had going under the table with a body shop. Thanks a lot. BMW can lick my choda for every after. Nice car, bad experience.
- 2006 Cadillac CTS, blue metallic, black leather interior. Nice car, but very average/mediocre in many categories. The newer, redesigned ones on the other hand I hear pretty good things about.
- 1981 DeLorean DMC-12, automatic, black interior. My poor used car buying experiences continued after getting a car that was not as advertised by Transworld Auto in St Louis. First two+ years were painful and expensive fixing an endless list of issues on a car advertised as being "the cleanest example we've ever seen." It's all water under the bridge now, car runs like a champ and looks pretty good too.
- 2009 Pontiac G8, sport red metallic, black leather interior. Best car I have ever owned. Factor in price and performance and it is the clear winner.
Sept. 81, auto, black interior

Let's see if you bastards can do 90.
my cars:
1986 Jaguar XJS V12: got it in 2001. 56k original miles, red, auto, leather, chrome wire wheels. awesome beast of a vehicle, Lucas electrical system.
it wasnt the most practical car for a poor college student.
2001 Hyundai Elantra: traded the Jag for this practical car in 2003. i did not like this vehicle. i made sure it was a manual so i could learn how to drive in anticipation of one day owning a manual DeLorean.
1952 Pontiac Chieftain Deluxe: my first project car, bought on ebay for $200 in 2004. i had a 'cool car' void after selling the Jag.
this vehicle was a rust pile and a half, but i learned alot of mechanical skills tinkering with it. it was too far gone to repair and sold it for scrap in 2010, but will always remember what i learned from it.
1958 Buick Special: purchased in 2006 because i wanted a running, driving project car. this is the vehicle in my avatar. i still own it, but will be selling it eventually to add to my "DeLorean Fund." (see my signature below)
2000 Jeep Wrangler: traded the Hyundai towards the Jeep in 2010. with winter weather in Omaha, i have no idea why this was my first 4wd...
i like my Jeep, but its not a vehicle for everyone.
1981 DeLorean DMC-12: stay tuned...

Cock Monger
1.) 1978 Datsun 280Z- First car, learned a lot, loved working on it. Sold it for a pittance. I wish I would've kept it.
2.) 1992 Geo Metro- While the Datsun was laid up my father gave me the Metro. Beat the shit out of that car in frustration over not having my 280Z. It was a great car, I used and abused her and she still got great fuel economy and would not quit on me.
3.) 1998 GMC Sierra 1500- My current daily driver. A most reliable truck. It's nothing fancy, just the 4.3L Vortec 4x2. Bought with 70,000 miles in 2005 now running to 125,000 and she hasn't let me down yet.
4.) 1968 Fiat 500F- Purchased this when I was without a classic car to tinker with. Remarkably simple and fun to work on. Got her into better shape and sold her to help finance the "dream". I regret it as she was a great head turner, reliable, and paid for. But she maxed out at 55 on the freeway!
5.) 1981 DeLorean DMC-12- The problem with realizing ones dream car. Sometimes I hate it more than I love it. Stage II makes her a lot more peppy and fun, but its still a 30year old exotic with exotic problems, and occasionally just goes a little over this amateur mechanic's head. The only thing that keeps me hanging on to her is my devotion to my #1 dream car. I figure if I regret selling the Z and the Fiat, I'd never forgive myself for selling the DeLorean.
