    Classic Car Contest

    Hey Everyone,

I've been a long time reader of these boards but never actually registered and posted. Been very helpful over the years! Anyway I am posting because I recently entered my Delorean in an online contest. Those with the most votes from each car decade will be able to display their car at the Milwaukee Auto Show.

The contest didn't have an 80s decade car category so I submitted the Delorean under the 70s and for some reason they approved my submission. So it would be funny to get the most votes and win under the 70s.

So if you have time please click the following link. The D is about the middle of the page. You can vote "once" every day until the 15th. Appreciate all your help. It would be cool for more people to have the opportunity to see the car and I think the auto show would be a great venue.

    Here is the link:

    Thanks again.

That's too weird they don't have an 80s category. But you got my vote!

My VIN:    A few, by name... DeLorean Monster Truck, DeLorean Roadster, DeLorean Hovercraft, DeLorean Limo

    Club(s):   (DMWC) (DCUK)

    Got my vote.

Feel free to add this text (or comment) below:

The DeLorean was designed in the mid-70's, with a slight design re-fresh
right before the pre-production cars (Pilot cars) began assembly in 1980.
So, in effect, it really is a 70's car that got a late start.

    Good Luck.

    Later,
    Rich W.

Looks like the Model T is the favorite in this one. The '41 Ford V8 convertible looks like the one Biff had in BTTF. But I believe Doc said, "Marty he's in a '46 Ford, we're in a DeLorean he'd rip thorough us like we were tin foil." but I'd bet to the untrained eye (mine) that's the same body style.

The Model T definitely will have the most votes but thankfully I only have to have the most votes of all 70s cars, since I entered in that decade category.
