I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

    Spoiler Alert!

    Step 1: Call DMCH.

All subsequent pages are pictures and their phone number.

Jokes aside, I'd like to thumb through it to see what I think of the book before purchasing it.

    Note the authors and photographers...

James V. Espey (Author, Photographer), Jr. William T. Collins (Foreword), Kevin Abato (Photographer), Tony Ierardi (Photographer), Dave Swingle (Photographer), Gary Weaver (Photographer), Phil Peters (Photographer)
Thats a pretty solid source if you ask me. Even without seeing any content, I'm confident this book should really help out new-time buyers.

Not to be a dick, but why is there a forward by Bill Collins? In '05 he was adamant that he wasn't involved with the production DMC-12 and couldn't answer questions.

Does this guide also offer help on restoring a DeLorean too?

IDK. Bill owns a production DeLorean now. Maybe he has changed his tune.

It's a worthwhile read for sure. It looks like it will help with the zillion questions we get about our Deloreans.

I'm not passing judgement on the book until I've read it. There are so many ways it could go.

There's the value assessment, what to pay, what to look for, how to buy one. This book has the potential to set the sales prices for all DeLoreans. If it says a parts car is worth x dollars, then people will expect to buy one for x or try to sell one for x.

There should also be a section about restoration costs, driving cars vs projects, what to expect to pay, what to have to spend on the car in the first year; rule of $25,000 for example, etc.

I'd expect no less from a book claiming to be the buyer's guide for the DeLorean.
