Post Deloreans with rear deck spoilers installed photos thread.

I am looking for photos of DeLoreans with rear deck spoilers installed.
Would you please help post photos on this thread?

Here is what I have found so far:

    Attachment 17551

    Attachment 17552

I actually kind of like the below one that is on the "DeLotus". Does anyone know what this spoiler is from?

    Thanks! Josh Q

Man I love the lip spoiler on then lotus car. I would love to find one. I only wish it attached to the spoiler instead of the fascia.

I can't believe I never noticed that lip spoiler before. I would seriously consider getting one of those with a wide side stripe... mmm.

Although I'm also not a fan of attaching it to the rear fascia, at least it won't make the sunshade too heavy to lift. I'm sure some of those 'park bench' spoilers weigh a ton.

Here are more shots of my car w/spoiler. It's a love it or hate it kind of modification, but right now I'm loving the new sporty look it gives my car with the wheels and side stripe. To each their own!

Rear spoilers on a DeLorean always make me chuckle. Like a car with a 35f-65r weight distribution needs help keeping its rear end planted. Besides at the speeds one normally travels on our roadways the only effect that rear spoiler would have is to increase drag, and possibly hinder fuel economy.

...they certainly don't look out of place though.

Patric your spoiler looks quite nice.
Even if I am not a general spoiler fan for the D, I think I would like yours. What make is it?

Spoilers do not only serve rear down force but also stability. I find the front wheel drive cars with rear spoilers a bit of a joke.

Thanks, Alex! It is actually a 3rd generation Firebird/Trans-Am spoiler from the 1980's. The styling really matches well to our louvres, in my opinion. Others have mounted them in the reverse way of how I chose to mount mine, but it ultimately comes down to personal preference.

The one on the DeLotus is quite interesting indeed.
