    Faulty NOS Tach/Fuel Relay

Just finished replacing my relays and circuit breakers with DMCH's kit. Car wouldn't start and no frequency valve buzzing Put the old tach/fuel relay back in and normal function restored Anyone else ever receive a bum relay?

When I bought my car the FV did not work. Turned out the OEM RPM relay was soldered at the factory so the second output (power for main fuel relay) could have never worked. Don't know if someone replaced that relay since the car was built but the lambda would have never worked.

So....don't think the factory RPM relays were ever tested to work both outputs. Later designs only used one relay pin.

New gimmick - force the RPM relay to prime - in cars that never primed before.

How long do you think I had to crank my enginge after the winter sleep and after
I installed my modified RPM relay and primed it twice ?

    :-)
