K-Jet Rest Pressure - Schematic & Basics - hot-start reference page
Here are shots of a useful page in the DMC Workshop Manual. Basic hot-start troubleshooting for D's starts with this page.
It shows which K-Jetronic lines/components are subject to rest pressure (fuel lines with hashed pattern in the diagram). Click images twice to full-scale.

It explains why rest pressure is important for starting, especially hot starting.
While it isn't a complete trouble-shooting reference it may keep us from fooling with components that are not involved with maintaining fuel rest pressure and good hot-start performance.
Of course, all the usual hot-start suspects are there.
And you can also tell which lines to be careful of - the ones that will squirt fuel when loosened - if the rest pressure is not bled off first.
