Nice job on the painting. It looks great.
I got to see the gas gauge on my DeLorean move for the first time ever thanks to DMCflux. He sold me his sending unit and it works great. I'll finally stop memorizing the mileage to know when to get gas.

An inop tripmeter would bug me even more. I'd just reset it every time I filled up and keep a log. I've been doing that since I got my driver's license. Makes for nice records too.

Today I installed NOS wide black side stripes!
I wasn't going to say anything until I actually had them in my possession and installed on the car.
Huge HUGE thank you to the good man who contacted me and told me he had a set he'd sell me. Can't thank him enough. I've been looking for these for years. He can say hi if he likes otherwise ill respect his privacy.

Here, somewhere.
Yesterday I charged my a/c and replaced the low pressure switch. I had cold air for all of 15 min before I heard a pop and a pshhhhhhh. There went my whole (expensive) charge of R12Today I spent 2.5 hrs removing my evap/blower assembly to replace the evap and heater core courtesy of DMCMW. The removal wasnt as bad as I thought. I figured I will replace the heater core since I have it all apart. I don't want to do this again.

Turned the key and heard the starter motor turn. For the first time in over a year. I think I'm gonna split my face from grinning.

Me: Eddie, I can't wait to get the car back when you're done with it.
Eddie: Yeah, you'll be able to give the car gas, and it won't be - like - embarrassing....
