Which shocks did you decide on upgrading to and are you happy with your choice?

I am in the market and debating between the following:

-Marty Meier Shocks
-Spax Shocks from Hervey or DMCMW

I want shocks that I would consider to be in the middle or that have progressive valving to allow comfortable long trips or firm spirited driving....
I don't want to bottom the car out when hitting dips in the road, nor do I want to feel every bump in the road....
I also want shocks that will bolt in without modifications or issues and would like to be able to lower the rear up to .5" max. I am aware of the adjustable lower control arms....
