Went to do my yearly hose clamp tightening to seal up a tiny drip of coolant. Pressurized the system with my tester. The shaft seal on my crappy water pump finally gave out and most of my coolant went on the floor. Ordered a new pump from DMCMW.

That appears to be the case. It's a reman unit from "that guy in Texas" that has never been quite right since the day it was installed. It had been seeping for a while and this appears to have just been the last gasp for it. I won't know 100% if it was the shaft seal or the pump back until I remove it for triage. But, if I'm removing it, I am certainly not going to keep trusting it.

    Totally

And to think, all I actually went to the garage for this morning was to hook up my new battery tender. I didn't even end up getting that done.

Finished my fuse block replacement job. That was no fun! Took me about 12 hours hunched over the area with crimpers and a soldering iron. Huge thanks to DMCMW who let me buy 10 replacement terminals separately after I screwed up more than a few learning how to properly crimp.

Also met up with Clint and Jon to do Jon's water pump. Most of the time it felt like the process was held up by various one man jobs so I'm not sure I was of much help, but still fun to meet up!
