    Identifying a bulkhead connector

I need help identifying this extra red bulkhead connector. I can't find reference to it anywhere.

Your car is equipped with a slowmatic. That is the un-terminated harness for five speed cars. It remains as you see it.

On later cars the factory cut it off and taped up the ends.

If you were to plug it in instead of the one currently in the red socket, you would lose backup lights and it would start in any gear. You'd also be in 3rd gear all the time.
