That's what happens when you work on a car that's basically made of knife blades. Ah, for the good old days of playgrounds with metal slides that sear your ass and deposit you into a bed of broken glass and used hypodermic needles. Kids today. *shakes head*

My car has no clutch, so I don't have to worry about doing that particular hairy job. However, I am primed to do an evaporator replacement, which I think ranks just as high on the "job you never want to do more than once" list.

I'm willing to bet it ranks WAY higher.

Completely reinstalled the remainder of the front fascia and lower spoiler, sans mesh grille (waiting to get a stainless replacement from DMCH). Verified headlights and turn signals still work after reinstallation. Reinstalled hood and aligned it.

Sat back and admired the front end, painted and beautiful for the first time in a year and some change. Might just drive her around town tomorrow!

Reinstalled fan relay , re-adjusted hood, tightened throttle linkage, drove around town like a madman and made some random kids' evening when they saw me walk to the car - they got super excited and were just floored to have seen it. It was pretty cool.

It was already dusk when I put the plate on. I will get a pic tomorrow, as I have the day off. (Happy Mardi Gras! Or ... Cardi Gras?)

Louisiana Antique plates aren't anything special to look at, except for the lack of an expiration sticker in the corner. Don't expect anything spectacular.

Farrar is so spectacular that he makes up for the lack of a spectacular plate.
