Took care of a nagging electrical problem with the passenger door-open switch for the interior and door clearance lamps.
In the past few months the switch seldom closed the circuit when the door opened. I could always get it to go by wiggling the switch plunger after the door opened.
Removed the switch, found there was a contact pad in it, then took a dressing file to it to renew the surface of the switch contact and re-mounted the switch.
The door switch works reliably again.

Brought 1141 home. . . spent a few hours going over everything and starting my "to-do" list.

Have been suffering with old-man's back for about a month which really does deter one from getting into the D.
Celebrated mobility by taking the D to a neighbors house where the 11yo was hosting a BTTF themed birthday party. Honestly surprised at how popular the car was with the little ones, and the dads. Caused quite a snarl up in the subdivision

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

found why my newly painted valve cover was leaking fiercely, it seems it didnt set right even with my fancy Loctite sealer.
I also Polished my intake flap as I was sick out how corroded it was. Now i want to remove the whole metering unit for sandblasting and paint

Took it to an exhaust shop; hopefully they do a good job.

Tightened the clamps on the anterior coolant pipes. Hopefully that takes care of a mild coolant leak, maybe due to the cooler weather and the shrinkage of the pipe? It's not from the car being in the pool.
