Hi! This is just for the set pictured in the listing, there is no mention of a lot. I want to sell by the set so multiple people have a chance to buy them rather than one person just sitting on them or marking way up. There is no "Buy It Now" because I am curious to see what happens!

Is this listing for the entire lot that you have or are you selling by the pair?

Would it have been easier to do an outright "Buy it now" with how ever many sets you have available - like companies do when they have multiples of something?

    Cheers

    Update

Hello all! I have gotten a few more emails about purchasing a set of covers immediately (I appreciate everyone's enthusiasm...). The only fair thing I can do is what I already mentioned, which is after the eBay auction, I will accept the highest offers above $950 on the remaining black set, and 2 gray sets (just PM me your offer). This will act like a "blind/sealed auction" - I will not be pitting offer against offer to drive the price up - That just isn't in good spirit. I will keep it simple. Also... I will be going into my storage unit in a few weeks to see if I happened to leave any sets behind, and if there are any more I missed, I will continue down the offers list in order or might just list on eBay. If anyone has any thoughts, please let me know. Just trying to be fair for both of us.

What happens if your eBay activity results in a figure less than $950? I would not worry so much about the leather, I'm sure it is in great condition but the vinyl side panels would worry me, over time they tend to become brittle and crack.

Hi Jim! I have a reserve on the auction of $1,000 and have enough offers above $950 here to cover all remaining sets. The vinyl is in perfect shape and have had no issues. Remember that these NOS covers would be comparable to a 0 mile concourse car seat. They are indeed 30 years old, but as long as you care for them, I can't forsee any problems. There are plenty of DeLoreans out there with seats in amazing shape. I guess take what you can from that

Great, that there are still some NOS Coves out there.

If anyone is interested, here is my restoration blog section, with some NOS Seat cover I bought two years ago from an other guy. My covers came out pretty well: -> http://dmctalk.org/showthread.php?30...ll=1#post86475

    Best wishes

    All sets sold! But...

Hi all! The eBay auction is over and all sets are spoken for or sold! However, I discovered there are 2 additional gray sets I had put away because each had a cosmetic issue. 1 set is perfect but the dye didn't originally take to the leather well in a few spots, like an orange skin look (this can be taken care of by a leather restorer). The second set is perfect other than a few small cuts on the vinyl of one bottom cover. I have an extra bottom cover (with a leather issue) and was going to have the vinyls swapped but never got around to it. My 2 perfect gray covers sold for the ending auction price of $1,525 each so could knock these down to $1,000 or best offer to offset the cost of repair on the buyer's end. I am happy to send pictures on request. Anyone interested should PM me soon. Thanks!
