Steve, I could say my car was the car as seen on Wheeler Dealers, which is completely true - it shows up towards the end next to a load of other cars - but I'd be implying that it was "THE" car, which it isn't. That is all that anyone has had a problem with, including, it seems, your customers - the fact that your wording implies that.
Such as, for example, in this email to a potential customer:
"Hi i own the actual back ot the future delorean time machine used by universal studios, it arrives in the country tomorrow, the car is based in dover i could possibly help but it would be in the region of £1000 due to the transportation costs, if you want a bttf car there is no better car in Europe, please check out the site thanks steven"

Perhaps this video might also explain some of the problems people may have with you too:
    http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/news/..._for_the_day_/
see the titles at 0:40, and then the section from about 2:38

And of course this isn't the only example of you running down fellow owners' cars.

Oh dear here we go again!

It's the whole 'The' thing that is the issue Stephen surely you can see this, why not knock that one thing on the head and use 'My' like everyone else so this sillyness can go away once and for all.

Our friends from across the pond and beyond don't need to be subjected to this Steven. Please stop.

(I would just like to say that he is NOT a reflection of the good people of Kent, and that we sincerely regret that he is from our county).

Hi Guys as it seems that the uk delorean guys come on here i will not, they dont tell you about the legal action that was taken against their site and the thread that was taken down due to their childish attack on me
If you ready the title of the thread it says The BTTF Car as seen on stage etc, which is 100% true, If I would have put A BTTF Car etc it would not be correct english, its the very small minded UK Delorean Owners that follow me as the do not like the fact my car is seen all over the UK.
I have never had a bad reveiw, except the fake ones attacking me and my car and we all no who that is.
This is my final post on this forum as members on here will soon start to breaking rules attacking me and i just can't be bothered with all that rubbish again

'If I would have put A BTTF Car etc it would not be correct english'

    Very true BUT

'My BTTF Car as seen on stage with Michael J Fox & Christopher Lloyd'

Is perfectly acceptable Queens English any day of the week

Lets look at a Dictionary definition of 'The'

'Used to mark a noun as indicating the best-known, most approved, most important, most satisfying, etc.'

As such by using the phrase 'The BTTF Car' over 'My BTTF Car' you infer superiority over other replica's.

Its a small thing I grant you but inference in a statement can make all the difference between appealing to someone or offending them.

I'm not having a go, I do not own a BTTF replica nor enjoy any benefits from someone else's car. I do however find your approach to the DMC community offensive and would like to see an end to all the petty behaviour.

As per 'My opinion not that of the forum etc etc'

Its funny though i post about the bttf car used , there was only one on that stage but it seems you think that putting the which is used in the term "The " stating this is the actual one used on that stage, this would be the correct term, the funny thing is UK delorean owners follow me around as they have nothing better to do, what difference and who does it up set what i call my car? i have the right to call my car what ever i want, its the cars website do you attack Terry who is linked to the bttf.com site he calls his car the same and owns the .com website i own the .co.uk site
It upset people who have nothing better to do with there time then to attck someone.
You should grow up, i have had a really nice private message from a member supporting me, its a shame he doesnt feel he could come on the boards and say it in public I guess he know what some members are like, as they like to attack people instead of getting on with people
Life is to short but i guess your life doesn't have much in it so you need to find something to fill it with
    VERY SAD
I hope you like my car from the Video by i will leave you now
Im happy if you want to BAN me like the UK Delorean club did

From reading your posts, you are in absolutely no way an authority on what constitutes "proper", or even "good" English. With spelling like "reveiw", to spotty punctuation, random inappropriate capitalization, random LACK of proper capitalization, odd word choices ("If you ready the title of the thread", "we all no who that is", "nothing better to do with there time"), and every other item from 3rd grade English textbook examples of what NOT to do, you have some pretty hefty stones to throw around definitions on what's allegedly correct English.

By the way, your car is trash and you have a bad attitude.
