VIN 6162 I have your radio!

This was given to me earlier this year. The service writer at a local Volvo truck center used to work at Grand Prix back in the 80's when they were selling DeLoreans. He had left the warranty tag on top of the radio with the owners info still on it. I have obscured the address and name for the pics. I was told despite the warranty claim the radio works fine. But its incomplete (missing knobs and face plate) and I have a Bluetooth pioneer in my car that I'd like to keep so I'm not going to do anything with it. If the original owner doesn't want it I'll offer it up for sale if anyone wants it. Here's a few pics.

I saw that on the Vin registry. It's funny how a car that was local wound up all the way in Europe. Hope he's interested in getting his OEM radio back

The owner hasn't responded yet ... It's been a year since he last visited the French forum, so this could take a while. Unless someone from France ( Domi? ) has his personal adress or phonenumber?

No problem. Honestly when I started the thread I had no idea the owner would be so far away. It may be more of a hassle then what it's worth to get it to him. If the owner was still local I thought it might be a fun thing to get together with another owner and give him an old piece of his car. Either way I'll hang onto it for a but till someone hears from him. But I can't read french to save my life so someone will definitely have to translate for me

Someone said the current owner already has a Craig radio in his car.
On the other hand, I left a message on his FB wall, but still no answer, not even on the French forum.

If he didn't change anything. Then it makes sense that he still has a Craig radio. The original owner said there was a problem with the this one and they switched it at the dealership. This was the one that came in the car from the factory.
I'll probably just offer it up on the for sale section in a bit. I'll give 6162's owner a little more time. No rush.
