WARNING! Do not buy vin# 3248 listed on eBay. The seller is a con artist.

Be aware of vin#3248 it is currently listed on eBay for sale as a repairable salvaged vehicle. I work in the car industry out here in California and the dealer that owns this car is a well know con artist. Their whole company is setup to defraud people. They buy heavily damaged vehicles and do dangerous repairs to make them appear less damaged and then try to sell them to people who are wanting a light project. Often the cars they sale are not repairable or have been ruined in their attempt to make the presentable for sale.

Here is their eBay listing for the DeLorean.

Here is the condition of the car when they bought it.

They will lie to you about the car, they wont stand behind any of their claims. So please be aware of this.

Here is an example of what they typically sell.

This is what it looked like when they bought it.

Here is more info on their dealership.

I can provide more info. But bottom line, just stay away.

Thanks for posting...I'm sure there are a few people tempted by this. From the eBay ad there looks to be at most minor damage to the underbody, a fascia and a few panels and you got a nice DeLorean.

The before pics tell a different story. Some people in this world are a real POS, thanks for the heads up.

    That'll buff right out

Needs more tire shine and armor all. Are those stainless inserts in the engine cover or painted?

Now that you see the before pics, you can see the corresponding creases in the hood and fascia.

I remember seeing this before and think how odd it was that they blacked up the wheels. "Silk purse" and all that......

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

Something just didn't look right with the damage until I saw the 'before' picture and then it all made sense. It was like there was no way the hood could crumple that far up and the fascia still be (relatively) straight like that. I can't believe this company still in business with the obvious attempts to make the damage appear less than it actually is. I about fell out of my chair when I saw the 'before' picture for that F150 truck. It's like someone took a crumpled beer can and worked it all back out. Pretty much every car on their website appears to be the same way as well.
