The Workshop manual provides a list of bolt and nut torque values.
Wheel nuts:
The torque value for the wheel lug nuts: 80 Nm.
However the wheels section provides another value: 100 Nm.
Although I could use bothe values, I like to know which of these values is the correct value for the lug nuts?
Steering wheel nut:
Another needed value is the torque value for the steering wheel nut.
I have browsed the above mentioned list and all appropriate sections, but could not find the steering wheel nut torque value.
Any of you guys having the correct and undisputed torque values for both wheel nuts and steering wheel nut?

I had always gone with the 80 N-m (60 ft-lb) in the general section of the manual and had honestly not realized there was a page in the wheels section contradicting it (100 N-m or 70 ft-lb according to their conversion).
I'll let someone else chime in about what exactly is best for the car, but from other manuals and technical documents (and we used to do the same thing when writing water treatment system manuals), the tendancy was to take out all numerical type technical data or specifications from the body of the document and always keep it in either the main general section at the front, or on an individual technical data page per subsystem. It was primarily just to make it easier and less error prone to leaving in a bad reference when something technical changed (and inevitably it would). It made a technical writer's life easier if you didn't have to go scouring a document looking for where something was mentioned and instead just changed it once in the technical data page. My Pontiac manual does somewhat the same thing as it constantly tells you to "refer to the technical specifications in section X.XX".
My 2 cents would be to follow the general section's technical specifications and not the individual subsection, i.e. 60 ft-lb (80 N-m).

I did use 80 Nm, but Always had a discussion with the tire guys.
They always say "we use 100 Nm for most of the cars, so why your car should be different.
Torqueing the wheel nuts to 100 Nm (as I did last time I removed the wheels) also feels like it's a proper value).

My Pontiac TransSport uses 120 Nm, my Volvo uses 110 Nm and the BMW also uses 110 Nm for the wheels.
Let's see who chimes in with the correct values for the D.
