Weatherstrip adhesive works well. So does a strong spray contact adhesive. The problem is that to properly reinstall like the factory it you need the glass out unless you are dealing with a very low VIN car.Originally Posted by steve6864

Another problem is facing a decision weather or not to replace them after removing your windshield. Since they are glued under the glass they easily gets torn when cutting the glass out. I'm currently leaning towards cheaping out and using a urethane adhesive on them before putting the new windshield in.
