    Alternator

Allright, we got our D up and running, everything is positive after a 12 year sleep spell. We need an alternator.....there are too many options. What do you have and how's it going? Then where did you get it?

The Delco CS-130 works well in a pinch, but you have to change the pulleys and the bracket.

I just changed the pulley with the cs-130, bracket was fine, I had to add a 1/2 spacer in front of the bracket. Different plug than stock as well.

What plug do you use? Do you have cut any wires?

I used the plug for a Saturn. Brown/Yellow wire gets cut and soldered to small wire on plug. Thick red wire on plug goes to stud on back of alternator.
