I don't understand the malice in this thread. It has been over 7 months since PJ Grady suggested they might make these plates and they aren't shipping yet. Bigmac wanted one now, so they machined one. It's a one-off and they're not selling them. Why get upset? Just because somebody else had the idea first?
Even if the plates were shipping right now, bigmac doesn't have to buy one. Would you get mad if instead of buying a plate, he made his own? Just seems so hostile in here.
