Installed new spark plugs. One of the old ones snapped, and the set had been installed & removed so many times that the hex was beginning to round out. Better safe than sorry.

Bought a set of "bolt grips" from Irwin (maker of the "vise grip"). Hoping that these & homemade penetrating oil will allow me to remove the headers without a torch.

My fiancée asked for a utility knife for Valentine's Day. Then she went out and bought a heart-shaped steak for supper. I am a lucky man.

Replaced the quadrant slide. After the temperature warms up a bit, I'll reinstall the quadrant.

Installed my new drivers door handle. It was much easier than expected. I busted my mirrow switch getting it out.....boo

While I have the upper door panel off I am going to do the magnet mod.

I got the magnets off ebay, which are now even stronger. Going to grab some goop tonight and give it a whirl.

Oh, wow, I forgot all about that. Neat! Let us know how it works for you. This may become a commoner mod...

Replaced the last wheel bearing on the car (drivers side rear). Car drives nicely.

Brakes suck and I will have to work with Dave (sdg3205) on it soon. Car did slide on wet road on the way back.

Scratched my precious new DeClock lens. Buffed the scratch out a bit and then broke of the little stud holding one side of the clock to the shifter plate.
Krazy glue did nothing. We did not have JB Weld available. Luckily Dave has another shifter plate that I can probably use. Have to get it from him soon.

Wired up the Wigs-A-Loft remote trunk release to find out that my hood is not properly aligned and it is unable to release the hood with the remote trunk release. I noticed several times that my fellow DeLorean friends could simply let the hood drop and it woudl lock. I have to puch it down. The hood latch, holding the hood in the locking mechanism, is scratched away in one location about half. I guess that this should not be the case. I probably need a new hood latch. I will use the old opening method for now.

Also hooked up Bitsyncmaster's LED dimmer module for the courtesy lights. Works like a charm. Getting to the wires in my harness was a pain, but it works great once installed.

The way I see it, if you're gonna drive around in a car, why not do it with some style?

For anyone keeping score at home, -40 degrees is where Celsius and Fahrenheit meet and are the same temperature. Cold? Yes. Take the DeLorean for a spin? Not so much.
HaHA ho, ho, yes mighty cold here too! -30 C ! And the past month of January was supposed to be the warmer month since the 80's I think... except maybe in Québec!!

...For those who take out their Delorean out, and having problems with the doors cylinders, I wonder if the cylinders from the ''new'' merc SL could bring some help, if they fit of course (which I highly doubt)
