Yep, the previous owner put that in. Quite a few of our club members have CB's, we use them to talk to each other when caravanning.

The only car I know in which it is understandable why changing a single instrument cluster light bulb can take an entire day.

On the positive side, my oil pressure warning light is back in business. They are a labour of love these cars. Tomorrow I am on vacation, however. :P~

Awesome upgrades! I really like the Momo wheel.

Yesterday and today, I re-assembled my rear calipers and painted my rear rotors, which were turned and bead blasted. I found that rebuilding calipers yourself isn't too bad, I just took my time and ensured the piston pots were clean, especially the groove that the piston seal rides in. I also took several "before" pictures which helped a lot.

Like DMC5180 said, DMCMW makes the logo plate and packages it together with the wheel and adapter, but you can buy them through any of the DMC franchises.
Thank you for your responses, most helpful.

That looks great! How much was the plating?

So what went so horribly wrong? It normally takes me 5 minutes to remove and maybe 7 minutes to reinstall the binnacle including the duct pieces. Did you also do a bunch of PCB cleaning too?

Thanks Brandon! A local company did the plating. The miminum charge is usually $50.00, and the total charge varies on how much plating you have, and whether you need blasting or decide to do masking (of the piston pots etc.).... Likely around 100 for just the calipers with masking.

I decided to do one large order for the engine and rear end parts & fasteners of clear and yellow zinc (with masking and blasting). All the parts pictured in my "miscellaneous" album was around $500..... much cheaper than getting all new parts, if you can get them (e.g. crankshaft pulley). Another example, a small engine part - the timing plate 102762 - is $92.00 new.

    Cheers,
    Dana
