Jim (DMC6960) helped me reassemble my engine after a VOD cleanup, installed fresh rubber coolant pipes, and a new water pump. Had to deal with frustrating moments such a broken bolt on the water pump and having to run out for a missing allen socket, but got it back together after several hours. Thanks for giving up your Saturday Jim! It is greatly appreciated!

I removed the courtesy light delay module and installed a Houston on/off switch in its place. Now, for the first time since I bought it four years ago, I can see the inside of my car at night without having to open a door.

Washed it this morning, took it out, parked it, it started raining, and when i got home from my date, apparently a bird had massive diarrhea all over it.

Never had that happen to my DeLorean, but birds seem to HATE my Corvette. On six different occasions over the summer, I came out of work to find it annihilated by bird poop.

Lol, don't you know that's what you get for washing a car?

so got up early this morning to get the bird doo doo off my car. Mind you, today was supposed to be sunny. Started sunny at least... Figured i'd just re-wash the car since the crap streamed down the car when it rained last night. I'll wash it, detail it, then put the covers on it.

Then I looked up and took this pic:

As soon as i lowered the camera, WOOSH. Total downpour. Not enough time to dry the car and get the cover back on it. Sigh... i love our forecasts!
