I tried taking photographs, but they don't at all seem to do justice in showing how phenomenally awesome they look as the light just glares.

The LEDs make the lenses glitter all crystallised, the colour is incredibly rich, and the instantaneous illumination is awesome! The front park/indicator doing its instant dimming between park and flash is especially cool!

In particular the amber indicators and white reverse lights looks the most amazing - here's one picture and, again although the it does not do justice, I've tried to compare between the right hand behind the old bulb and the left hand being the new LED. I'm really at a loss to get a photograph that shows how amazing the lens looks with the LED behind it.

Which models did you end up using? I tried LEDs in the turn signals/tail light clusters and ditched them all but the reverse warning lamps, as I found the color to be washed out and dim.

I agree you don't do LEDs justice with photos. I also have all LEDs outside (except rev. lights). The colors are much more vivid with LEDs.

LEDs/SMDs I bought in Ebay over a month ago have gone walkabout, so no upgrades for me. Grrr!

Completed my Hover Mode Switch, looks fantastic and will see who has got a keen eye when I attend the car events.

Moved my DeLorean from my place to my parents house for the winter. I'll be taking it out next weekend for the DMA FFT but that looks like it for the season. 3165 has been well used over the last 2 1/2 years with a total of around 18000 miles put on it. So I think it"s entitled to a much deserved break.

I loosened up some overly tight valve clearances on the left side, but the car still doesnt run quite right when cold, found and repaired some vacuum leaks at 4 of the fuel injectors too. Then I got entirely too distracted by my new motorcycle so DMC work stopped.

Nothing more than a good clean and a wonderful ~150km drive.

Whilst parked at a coastal town, however, I learned the horrible lesson of how much scratching seagulls can do to beautiful DeLorean stainless panels. Caught two of the bastards walking on her hence know that is the cause of it. Son of a...

Just as well I was about to order stocks of blending pads - didn't expect to already be needing them though
