DeLorean Tool Roll Pouch, Tools and Brand?

I was wondering if anyone out there has the original tool bag or roll pouch with the correct tools? Was the tool manufacturer, "HEYCO"? Wiki Anyone got pics they care to share?

I know the bag included; A philips screwdriver (with a black plastic handle), pliers (what size were these?) and a set of wrenches ... right???

Nice tool roll Domi! I'll have to get a pic of mine... sadly, I don't have the OG pliers... that's why i'm in search of one. I keep finding Heyco the vendor who provided the kit (not sure?), but would like to find the correct size and type of plier (mm) to complete muh set and roll muh own

The cars were never delivered with tool kits. They were in the stock that DMCH bought from Consolidated and sold separately (I guess Consolidated also sold some too before DMCH got them). You might find more info in the Millenium Concours manual. The kits are more for originality than functionality, the tools are pretty pathetic. The only "tools" that came with the cars were the jack, handle and lug wrench and the bag. I think there are 2 different versions of the jack and handle, an "early" version and a later version. The early one had a ratcheting handle and the later one had a crank style handle.

I heard stories that the tool kits were removed from the cars when they reached the Quality Assurance Centers. I picked up a tool set on eBay for a steal. My kit matched the pictures that Domi posted.

Interesting. I just learned a few new tid-bits of info about the tool roll (thank you). Is there more info as to how it surfaced? I see it appear and graphics referenced in the Delorean parts manual, vaguely./ Why would have QAC taken them at that level? I was able to partially build my own tool roll thanks to millie on eBay. I'll have to take some pics of what I got cuz it includes inventory tags (and where were those inventory tags created (i.e., Ireland or by DMCH when they purchased from Consolid)?).

BTW: Is that Trim-techs logo on the pouch? Same as found on the inside of the infamous kneepads?

The QAC/POG guys that have presented at DCS in the last couple years have on multiple occasions said in their presentations that they removed the toolkits. I'm not sure how much closer we're going to get to the source than the people that actually removed them.

That and the history from the workers does provide a compelling argument that the tool kits were removed from some cars at some QAC's. Removing the tool kit was a simple and easy thing to do. Of all the things on the checklist it is one of the easiest to do. I doubt they did every item on that checklist on every car though. The only good reason I can think of to remove the tool kit was so the dealer could sell it back to car buyer as an extra.
